The lovely, and uber-supportive, YA Fantasy Author J. Keller Ford has nominated me for The Booker Award, for those who refuse to live in the real world
Thank you, Jen! I love seeing how your blog is evolving and your platform is building. There are great things coming up for you, I can tell! And I can’t wait to read your contribution to the Make Believe Anthology
So for this award, I have to list 5 of my all-time favorite books. I actually wrote about this in one of my first blog posts, and the list hasn’t changed, so I’m gonna post the link there for an explanation of the list below
In no particular order:
1. In the Shadow of the Master: Classic Tales by Edgar Allan Poe, although The Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe works beautifully
2. The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis
3. No god, but God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam by Reza Aslan
4. Revolution in the Head: The Beatles’ Records and the Sixties by Ian McDonald
5. Return to Sodom and Gomorrah by Charles Pellegrino
I’m gonna go against the grain here and just make one nomination :p Mainly because I just broke my fast and my brain’s still not working at full throttle …
Drum roll please…..
And my nod goes to……..
LEAH !!! Over at Books Speaks Volumes for always having such entertaining book-related posts!
Thanks again, Jen!
