Hi,
So this blog isn’t the only thing I’ve been neglecting. :/
It’s been a lot harder than I thought it would be to get back into writing regularly. I don’t know whether it’s Ramadan or the death of my friend that I’m still trying to get over; but I can’t seem to sit down long enough to write anything substantial. It’s like my thoughts scatter, and my mind won’t – or can’t- stay quiet long enough for me to write…
I’ve been doodling instead. I’m not really any good at it, but I find that it all goes a bit quiet, a bit calmer, when I’m sketching something…
So, I’ll share some of that instead of writing tips :p
I’m not abandoning my novel by any means… Let’s just call it an interlude.
Thanks for dropping in

You’re not good at sketching? Ok, you may be no Rembrandt but you are good. Faces are really, really hard to draw. I really like your Poe interpretation, and don’t worry about your writing. It’ll come. *hugs* for your loss. Time does heal.
Thanks! I appreciate the support and compliment
Great sketches. I particularly like the drawing inspired by Poe.
Thanks; I’m obsessed with that fable.
Part of the quality that separates those who do something well from those who do something only in passing is perseverance. Keep at the writing. You have a talent and a knack that would be a shame to waste.
Thanks, JR. I won’t be abandoning the writing by any means… just taking a little breather
Like the one of Black Elk. Ever contemplated a picture storybook?
One of the novels I have brewing at the moment is a fantasy, and I’ve had a lot of images in my head of possible scenes that could be illustrated. But I don’t think I’m good enough for that :p
Wow, you’re good. As the saying goes, I can’t even draw a stick figure. These are great drawings IMO.
Thanks
